TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The buildings that we offer are constructed on the basis of designs and descriptions which were registered at the Polish Patent Office on 19 December 1997. They are all patent-protected.

  1. Purpose and situation
    Our buildings are detached, single-storey constructions with usable lofts. They are constructed on plots were the ground water level is below the foundations.

  2. Foundations
    The foundations are situated below ground level. The continuous footing is made of B20 concrete reinforced with steel rods (A-0, O12). The foundation walls are made of concrete blocks laid with a flat joint of cement mortar.

  3. Outdoor walls
    The construction of the walls is based on ground beams fixed around the continuous footing with anchors. The wooden frame of the walls is made of 12x12, 12x14, 12x16 and 16x16 cm pillars, beams and angle braces. The insulation is made of two layers of foam polystyrene with a total thickness of 15 cm. The outer side of the polystyrene is covered with mineral plaster on a net. The inner part is covered with fire-proof plaster-cardboard.
    It is also possible to make the outdoor facades of the gables of wooden panels.
    The heat penetration ratio of the walls is U=0.34 W/m2xk. In order to obtain U<0.3 W/m2xK the second 4 cm layer of foam polystyrene is replaced with a 6 cm layer of mineral wool.

  4. Ceiling
    The dimensions of the floor beams are 12x18 cm; the floor in the loft is made of 32 mm-thick boards.

  5. Roof
    A rafter roof frame with or without collar beams depending on the size of the building; sloping: 45 degrees; standard roofing: tile-resembling sheet (optionally: bitumen shingle, concrete or ceramic tiles, or thatching); insulation: 15 cm-thick mineral wool; indoor soffit ceiling: 12 mm OSB. The heat penetration ratio of the roof is U=0.27 W/m2xK.

  6. Indoor walls
    Double-sided plaster cardboard on a steel or wooden grid.

  7. Doors and windows
    Wooden doors and windows; double-glazing heat penetration ratio: U=1.1 W/m2xK. Optionally: wooden shutters on all the windows.

  8. Gutters and drainpipes
    PVC; optionally: chains instead of drainpipes.

  9. Indoor stairs
    80 cm-wide, single-curve, open pine stairs.
